In a vibrant paradise, brown women commune with nature, their brown skin mirroring the fertile earth. They embody the timeless bond between the feminine spirit and the natural world. Celestial guardians, giving into their earthly desires, converge with earthly beings, witnessing this peaceful congress. The setting is inspired by the rice paddy fields found in Indonesia, the artist’s birthplace. This piece represents the artists’s idea of a utopia – where the desire for peace, connection, and sensuality amongst other things are fulfilled, and where women can experience true freedom – to rest, to simply be.
