Marianne Nems is an artist whose life journey spans from war-torn Beirut to the cultural hubs of Paris, New York City, and Miami Beach. Deeply influenced by her father, Dimitri Nems, a revered artist and interior architect, Marianne blends traditional techniques with modern technology in her work. Marianne’s art reflects life’s contrasts, balancing joy and sorrow, light and darkness, substance and lightness, depth and closeness. Her work serves as a reminder that all these elements exist simultaneously, and it is our choice to see what resonates more. Her creative process, rooted in spirituality and over two decades of practicing martial arts and yoga, emphasizes the cognitive creation between the coordination of body and mind, harmony of movement, and alignment for inner peace. She advocates for artists worldwide, encouraging them to embrace their creativity and innovate continuously. Her philosophy of life is centered on the belief that through the practice of art, we can inspire and unify communities, fostering a deeper connection to both ourselves and the world around us, as free expression frees the mind and connects us all. Currently, residing and working in Miami Beach, Florida, Marianne founded “The Nems Foundation for the Arts”. In 2024, she also launched Artrade.club, an Art & Tech platform dedicated to fostering artistic expression and community engagement. Marianne pursued her studies in interior architecture and fine art in Paris, France. Her distinguished career spans over three decades as a concept designer and fine artist.
